He drives a stars-and-stripes patterned van and insists he's "genetically American" and just "born in the wrong country." Bursting into the consular office to kiss the flag, Francis interrupts Edouard Barnier (Thierry Lhermitte), a suave lawyer. Having made the mistake of handing Francis his card, Barnier now acquires a tenacious client.
